The Apeks Cuff Dump is a proven piece of a equipment and is fitted to 100,000's of suits to provide easy venting of gas as you make an ascent.
The Apeks Cuff Dump is the simplest method of getting air out of a drysuit or any other item that you may want to fit a one way valve to. The Cuff dump should be mounted near either wrist so that when the arm is raised the valve is at the highest point of the suit. The cuff dump is completely maintenance free and needs no adjusting, simply rinse the valve from the inside of the suit every so often to ensure the seat is clear of salt crystals or fluff from your undersuit. It is also a good idea to periodically remove the top cover to ensure the one way valve is not becoming cracked which can cause it to leak.
