Apeks Egress Octopus
The Egress Octopus from Apeks is everything you want from an alternate air source. Compact, lightweight, easy to use, easy to stow and gives plenty of gas when it is called upon. The Egress can be used either way up with the purge button in the center of the regulator allowing it to be easily depressed in either position when the user needs it most. The low profile of the Egress octopus allows it to be stowed neatly against the diver, reducing drag and also keeping it out of the way of entanglement hazards that may pose a risk to a diver.
