Beaver Easy Fin Spring Straps
Beaver Spring Straps can be retrofitted to most fins on the market and provide a much more robust alternative to standard rubber straps.
Beaver Easy Spring Straps allow you to get your fins on and off with amazing ease, perfect for those difficult shore entries where time is of the essence. Beaver Spring Straps are made with a marine-grade stainless steel spring that is extremely robust and provides the correct amount of tension on your heel to keep the fin secure yet comfortable. A moulded rubber piece covers the spring, this reduces wear on your boots as it stops the spring from rubbing through. A finger loop is moulded in to provide an easy means of pulling the strap on and off.
Two styles of Beaver Spring Straps are available; commercial and quick release. Quick-release spring straps fit most fins on the market that have a removable strap and swivelling buckle. To fit these simply unclip your old rubber strap and remove the buckles, replace the buckles with ones that come with the spring straps and clip to spring into place. Commercial spring straps fit to fins that have a simple rubber 'post' with a hole drilled through it, to fit these you will need to remove the pin holding in the old buckle using a junior hacksaw or similar. The metal loops can then be inserted and clamped together to provide a secure connection.
